Think Green! is a two-part project committed to sustaining the earth by tapping into green-oriented business and policy innovations and creating awareness about Ghana's waste management and energy supply challenges and alternative green solutions.
The first part of Think Green! functions as a pro-environment Ghanaian think-tank focused on facilitating business and public policy solutions to Ghana’s waste management and energy supply and consumption challenges. At the heart of our mission is a fundamental commitment to sustain the earth by tapping into green-oriented business and policy innovations.
Think Green works with a wide spectrum of partners in business, government, international aid agencies, civil society, academia and the media to create awareness in Ghana of the threats to our economy and environment, caused by the problems of poor waste management and carbon-based energy consumption. But more importantly, Think Green! focuses on how these challenges can be turned into business opportunities and how such opportunities can be maximized by harnessing and leveraging knowledge and capabilities from a pro-business point of view.
By ‘pro-business’ Think Green! facilitates both for-profit and social enterprise business models which are solutions-focused. We also campaign for public policy models which are pro-green; and work with financiers to invest in green-oriented solutions to Ghana’s waste and energy problems.
Our awareness program seeks to build a green market in Ghana using various media to communicate
To contribute to the global green revolution in the areas of energy and waste management by providing effective and sustainable solutions to the energy and waste management challenges facing Ghana.
